The order of Homayoun

     Founded by Shah Reza Pahlavi in 1939 as a general order of merit. The order resembles the Qajarian order of Lion & sun in image and shape. This order is found in 5 classes with a decrease in size and number of star bursts but all are made of silver. (The 5th class has got only 4 points of star bursts).
