By 1950s the shape of 1 Pahlavi gold coins changed to the one seen above. The profile of shah was added to the reverse of the coins with this script above it: "Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the king of kings of Iran". Later, around 1968 the new title of Shah, Aryamehr (The sun of Aryans) were added to this script. This coin is minted in 1961.
