Gold coins are minted in four different sizes, with the denominations of 500, 750, 1000 & 2000 Rials. Size of the 2000 Rials coin is near to a 5 Pahlavi gold coin. Backside image of the gold coins are the same as the silver ones. Gold coins are place in royal boxes with the silver sets plus a certifying brochure. These sets are rare.
